| CAPABILITIES FORUM & MATCHMAKING SESSION |
The Minority Serving Institutions' Research Partnership (MSIRP) Conference will include a
Capabilities Exchange and Matchmaking Session on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from
1:00 – 5:00 PM. This session, which will bring government, small and large businesses
together with Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), is designed to promote the exchange key
information on grants and contracting opportunities among participants. This will allow
institutions unique opportunities to leverage their capabilities for success with
government and the business sector. In order to participate in the Matchmaking Session
you must sign up in advance (no later than April 30, 2008). This session will be by
appointment only. Capabilities information submitted by matchmaking participants will be
compiled and provided to participating corporations and government agencies.
The Capabilities Exchange and Matchmaking session is open to all registrants with the 2008
MSIRP conference, which will be held at the Hilton-Riverside Hotel in New Orleans, LA
May 12-14. You may submit your Matchmaking Interest Form to Mr. Lee Allen. Additional
appointment times will be available based on number of participants.
During registration you will be provided a list of government agencies, corporate
businesses and other MSIs who have signed up to participate in the Matchmaking Session
and your schedule of matchmaking appointments.
