NASA has immediate and future subcontracting opportunities for historically black
colleges and universities (HBCUs) and minority institutions (MIs).  The opportunity to

      On May 12, as a part of the pre-conference, NASA and many of its largest business
prime contractors will be afforded the opportunity to interact with HBCU/MI
representatives to discuss potential subcontracting opportunities.  The MSI planning
committee, NASA, and the NASA primes would like to extend a special invitation to
the HBCU/MI community to attend this special networking opportunity.  The one-day
event is part of an overall NASA initiative designed to increase prime and subcontract
opportunities with HBCU/MIs.

     In addition to the NASA Prime Contractors HBCU/MI forum, the NASA
University Research Centers Technical Assistance Workshop will be held on May 12,
2008, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The workshop will provide overviews of NASA
Education's current priorities and requirements, the NASA mission directorates, and
the URC proposal solicitation, proposal development and submission process.
